What a managed IT plan covers

Every business is different, so every plan is built to fit your size and your budget. Most plans cover:

• Your network. Firewalls, Wi-Fi and the network rack, set up and kept secure. See network services.
• Round-the-clock monitoring. Your computers and network are monitored at all hours, and we are alerted when something critical goes wrong, so problems get caught before they stop your work. See network monitoring.
• Updates. Operating system and antivirus updates kept current.
• Microsoft 365 and business email. Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, set up and supported. See business email.
• Backup and disaster recovery. Your data copied to a separate server off site, so it can be brought back. See backup and disaster recovery.
• Email spam protection. Viruses and malware stopped before they reach the inbox.
• Adds, moves and changes. New computers, new staff, a new or second office.

One flat fee, no surprise bills

You pay the same amount each month. We do not charge you more when your network goes down or a server fails. The flat fee covers that work.

Built to stay online

Some businesses cannot afford to go offline. For them we build in a backup: two internet providers through one firewall, so if one line drops the other carries on, and battery backup on the network rack for power cuts.

Who we work with

Most of our clients are small businesses: law offices, finance and trading firms, dental offices and other small offices. Many have compliance rules to meet. We check your setup against your industry’s IT compliance standards and tell you what to change to make it more secure.

What a managed service provider does

A managed service provider, or MSP, is a company that runs your IT for a monthly fee. The difference from calling someone when a computer breaks is that an MSP works before things break. It watches your systems, keeps them updated and backed up, and handles the day-to-day changes.

How to choose an MSP

• Will I reach a real person? Ask what actually happens when you call.
• Are you local? When the job needs someone on site, a provider far away is a problem.
• Is the price predictable? You should know your monthly number before you sign up.

Switching from another IT company

Was your IT set up badly by a previous company, or did it come with the building? We clean it up and set it up properly. You do not need to understand the technical side. That is our job.
